Ever since I was a kid, I've been a huge fan of Nintendo and most of their first party properties...Mario, Zelda, Metroid and so on.

Though I do still play a lot of games, my tattoos really are a throwback to my childhood...growing up a military brat meant I moved a lot, and generally these moves would accur at the beginning of or in the middle of the summer. Arriving in a new town during summer months is rough...most kids have their little cliques and it becames really hard to meet people until school started.

While this was sometimes a bit of a downer, I kept myself busy by mastering the 8-bit masterpieces of the day!

All credit goes to my artist Daniel Innes...he really is fantastic and I can't wait to see what he has in mind for my Zelda piece!
